QuickBooks Online and VeloLedger today. Approved reports post to your ledger without a manual export.
None of the following is available yet. We would rather tell you what is coming than sell you something that is not here.
Read the merchant, date, total and tax off a photographed or emailed receipt. In development.
Propose the account and category from the receipt and your chart of accounts. In development.
Catch the same invoice submitted twice in different formats. In development.
Say why a line breached policy, in a sentence. In development.
Ask a question of your own expense data and get a worked answer. In development.
Four deterministic checks: duplicate submissions, amount outliers, violation density and approver concentration. Rules, not machine learning — each raises a finding for a person to review rather than reaching a verdict.
When the AI features ship, every one of them will be available on every paid plan.

Start Free TrialVeloExpense is expense management software for companies in Canada and the United States. It covers expense reports with line-item splits, receipt upload and a receipt inbox, a policy engine that checks submissions against your rules, approval workflows with delegation, reimbursement tracking, a chart of accounts with GL coding, and posting of approved reports to your ledger. The interface is available in English and French (Canada). Pricing starts at $5 per user per month.
Three tiers: Starter at $5 per user per month, Business at $9, and Enterprise at $15 with a 10-user minimum. Annual billing is about 12% below monthly, at $53, $95 and $158 per user per year. Prices are available in USD and CAD. There is a 14-day free trial and no implementation fee.
Yes, and here is precisely what that means today. The interface is available in English and French (Canada), dates and currency format to Canadian conventions, CAD is a first-class currency, and foreign-exchange rates are sourced from the Bank of Canada. A provincial tax engine — GST/HST/PST/QST rates by province, input-tax-credit tracking, CRA mileage rates and per-diem tables — is on the roadmap and is not available yet. Tax is currently recorded as an amount you enter on the expense line.
None yet, and we would rather say so plainly. Receipt extraction, category and GL-account suggestion, plain-language policy explanations, duplicate invoice detection and ad hoc cost analysis are in development. The compliance controls that ship today — duplicate detection, amount outliers, violation density and approver concentration — are deterministic rules rather than machine learning, and they raise a finding for a person to review rather than reaching a verdict on their own. When the AI features ship, every one of them will be available on every paid plan.
QuickBooks Online and VeloLedger are available today, with approved reports posted to the connected ledger automatically. Xero, Sage, NetSuite, SAP and Oracle are planned and are not available yet.
